Our main service project is Positive Images Inc., a woman’s residential rehabilitation program in Detroit.
Our Soroptimist Resource Center in
Positive Images provides tutoring, a library in the residential housing center, gifts at Christmas, Easter baskets, assists with the baby showers,
and provides special Mother's Day items.
We also give volunteer hours and financial support to:
- Family Center
- STOP Human Trafficking
- Turning Point
In addition, we are partnering with Soroptimist International of Greater Macomb and Zonta Club of Detroit to provide support for HOPE Project, a home in Michigan for survivors of human trafficking .

Soroptimist International of Grosse Pointe (SIGP) is a volunteer service organization for business and professional women dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world.
The Grosse Pointe Club has 45 active members who donate their time and resources to organizations in the community to help women and girls. We have fund raisers throughout the year to support educational awards to women.

WHEN DO WE MEET?
SIGP has a dinner meeting at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
The Yacht club is located on Lakeshore and Vernier Road.
